Hoebig & Stobbe Launch Their New Album

Gwen Hoebig and Karl Stobbe had their album launch at the Centennial Concert Hall Saturday, Feb. 10. The album, Six Sonatas for Two Violins by Jean-Marie Leclair was recorded by JDRS in March 2017 with production completed later in the year. The album is being distributed by Analekta in download form as well as CD. The launch took place after the Saturday Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra concert.

Gwen and Karl began the launch by performing one of the sonatas featured on the album and then followed with a Q & A with those in attendance. CD’s were available for purchase, with Gwen and Karl on hand to autograph them.
