“I’m pleased to report that World Village Gospel Choir has received word that our application with FACTOR (Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent On Recordings) has been successful!! This means we will soon have the funds to record one song professionally. Juno-nominated Winnipeg sound engineer Joe Dudych will be our recording engineer, and we will be recording my song “Make Me An Instrument” with the WVGC, plus guitar, bass, drums and B3 organ. The hope is that this single will lead us to some radio airplay, and also we will be eligible for the next level in FACTOR funding, which is to record an EP. Very grateful to live in a country that supports the arts! If you are a Canadian musician with original songs in almost any genre, I encourage you to apply for funding. There’s a fair amount of online application procedure to go through, and nothing is guaranteed (this was our second attempt to receive funding) but it’s a great opportunity for some support to get your music out there.”       FACTOR

I am thrilled to be working with Rachel Landrecht and Neil Weisensel, and this fine, hard-working group! The recording schedule is still in the planning stage. I will post details as they come in.
